Rimal Dental Studio: 21 implant consultations a month, up from 5
A Jumeirah dental clinic that opened with zero authority — DHA-compliant treatment silos, an Arabic cluster and a review engine took new-patient calls from 24 to 86 a month in twenty months. Data runs through 31 July 2026, sourced from GA4 and Google Search Console, reported exactly as our internal QBR deck reads it.

01 · The starting point
A brand-new clinic, six chairs, zero authority
Rimal Dental Studio opened its doors in late 2024: six chairs, a full implant suite, and a Google footprint that consisted of a fresh Business Profile with four reviews. Every treatment keyword that mattered — implants, Invisalign, hygiene — was held by aggregator directories and by Jumeirah clinics that had been trading since 2014 and had a decade of reviews stacked up. The clinic needed 25–30 new patients a month to hit chair utilisation, and was getting 24 calls, mostly paid.
The compliance constraint shaped everything. DHA advertising rules forbid before/after claims and price promises, and the draft content the previous vendor had sold them breached both — before/after imagery, “cheapest implants in Dubai” banners. We scrapped it before launch and wrote a content standard with the clinic’s DHA consultant instead: clinical sign-off per page, indicative ranges framed carefully, no promises a clinician wouldn’t make in person.
On the map pack, “dentist jumeirah” put the clinic at position #9 — and that was on clinic-name searches, not discovery.
Day-one audit findings
- Effectively zero authority: 6 referring domains, all clinic-directory listings (Screaming Frog + Search Console, Jan 2025)
- New-patient calls: 24/month against a 25–30/month chair-utilisation target
- Aggregator directories held 3 of the top 5 results for “dental implants dubai price”
- Previous vendor’s draft content breached DHA advertising rules — before/after claims, promotional pricing — scrapped before launch
- Cost per consultation at launch: AED 210, almost entirely paid search
02 · What we actually did
Four phases, in the order they happened
Months 1–2 · Jan–Feb 2025
Compliance first, then architecture
- DHA advertising rules translated into a written content standard — no before/after claims, no promotional pricing, clinician byline and review date on every page — agreed with the clinic’s DHA consultant before a word was published
- Google Business Profile built out: categories, services, licensed-practitioner listings, photo set; dynamic number insertion to separate paid, organic and walk-in calls
- Architecture planned as four treatment silos (implants, orthodontics, hygiene & periodontal, cosmetic) with a Jumeirah-area layer
- Technical baseline: GA4, Search Console, Screaming Frog crawl; Dentist and MedicalClinic schema with physician Person markup
Months 3–5 · Mar–May 2025
Treatment silos and surviving the March update
- 11 treatment pages published with clinician authorship, indicative cost ranges (DHA-compliant framing) and “what changes the price” sections
- March 2025 core update hit the eight-week-old domain: rankings reshuffled for five weeks, the implant page drifted 47 → 63 before recovering — documented, no panic edits, post-mortem in the shared drive
- Arabic wave 1: six core pages written natively by Noor S. — clinic, implants, hygiene, booking, FAQ, doctors
- Review engine: QR flow at reception checkout; 40+ new reviews a month by May, rating at 4.6★
Months 6–9 · Jun–Sep 2025
The cost hub and Arabic wave 2
- Implant cost hub: 9 pages — indicative ranges, single-vs-full-arch breakdowns, what moves the price, finance and insurance FAQ — “dental implants dubai price” 47 → 12 by September 2025
- Invisalign cost page and process cluster: “invisalign dubai cost” 39 → 9 by September 2025
- Summer content: evening-appointment and travel-season pages — appointment demand shifts to evening hours while expat patients travel, documented in the July 2025 report
- Map pack: “dentist jumeirah” #9 → #2 by September 2025 as review count passed 300
Months 10+ · Oct 2025 — ongoing
Holding #1, recall flows, cost-hub wave 2
- “dentist jumeirah” reached map-pack #1 in November 2025 and has held it for all but six weeks since — a GBP data error in April 2026 briefly dropped it to #4, fixed within 48 hours
- Cost-hub wave 2: per-material and per-arch implant pages; hygiene and whitening cluster built out in Arabic
- Recall and reactivation: six-month hygiene recall content plus WhatsApp rebooking templates
- Quarterly DHA compliance re-audit across all treatment pages — two competitor pages using before/after imagery flagged to the clinic’s consultant

What the client banked
Twenty months from opening, organic sessions ran 740 → 4,120 a month (+457%) and “dentist jumeirah” moved from map-pack #9 to #1, where it has held for all but six weeks of 2026. For a domain that started with six referring directories: 4 of the 5 tracked treatment keywords now sit in the top 9, against clinics that have traded in Jumeirah since 2014.
The chair maths is what the partners read: 86 new-patient calls a month (+258%), 21 of them implant consultations against 5 at launch — past the 25–30 new-patient utilisation target from month 9 and rising since. Cost per consultation fell from AED 210 to AED 62. Paid search was deliberately kept alive for “emergency dentist” same-day demand — our recommendation, not the clinic’s idea.
The content now does the qualifying: consultation arrivals reference the published price ranges in the first call, in both languages. The whitening cluster is the honest laggard in the table; implant intent — the revenue line — is the strongest in the portfolio.
The retainer maths, in the open
AED 6,500/month retainer (AED 78,000 a year). Of 86 new-patient calls, 21 became implant consultations. At the studio’s 2026 acceptance rate of 35%, that is about 7 implant cases a month. Then the haircut other agencies skip: only consultations where organic was the first tracked touch count as ours — 60% of them, call it 4–5 attributable cases a month. Priced at the bottom of the studio’s AED 14,000–24,000 case range (single-implant weighted), that is AED 62,000–70,000 of influenced treatment revenue a month — roughly 10× the annual retainer, and still about 5× if you halve the acceptance rate. Two cases pay the retainer; everything after that is the clinic’s margin.
06 · Where it got hard
What didn’t work — reported the same way
Honest file note 01
The aggregators still own “price”
Our implant cost hub reached #6 for “dental implants dubai price” and the studio outranks 11-year-old Jumeirah clinics for the first time — but WhatClinic-style directories hold 3 of the top 5 slots and refresh constantly. We hold #6, watch the SERP weekly, and say in every QBR that cracking the top 3 will take authority a 20-month-old domain is still earning.
Honest file note 02
We told the client to keep Google Ads
In months 1–6, organic alone would have starved the chair schedule, and “emergency dentist” converts same-day in a way treatment content never will. We recommended keeping paid search on at a smaller budget for 12 months — an SEO agency arguing to keep a rival channel alive. As of July 2026 the studio still runs about AED 4,000/month of ads, on our advice, with the note printed in every report.
Honest file note 03
June 2026 was the worst month of the year
A front-desk change collapsed review velocity from 38/month to 9, and the QR flow broke silently for 11 days. Sessions barely moved, but map-pack pressure showed within weeks. A new QR flow with a fallback short-link launched in July 2026. June stays in the charts unrepaired, because it happened.
07 · The client’s words
“We opened with an empty Google profile and twenty-four calls a month against a thirty-patient target. Twenty months later the map pack puts us first in Jumeirah, the implant cost page books consultations on its own, and patients arrive already knowing the price range we published. What earned my trust: every treatment page goes past our DHA consultant before it goes live, and when I suggested switching off Google Ads, Layla’s team argued me out of it — they were protecting our chairs, not their case study.”
